Former Laker and LA Native Trevor Ariza held his first annual Ariza Celebrity Basketball Game & Elevated Game Awards in Los Angeles honoring high school seniors who have excelled in athletics and academics while
overcoming tumultuous life challenges. Players included Terrell Owens (who dominated on the court), Lil Romeo, Dean Cain, Laura Govan, Mechelle Epps, and Casper Smart. Nice to see athletes and celebrities being positive and giving back instead of threatening their son’s football coach a la Diddy.
Before tipoff, Casper Smart told me he has been busy choreographing Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday Tour (US leg kicks off July 17th) with multiple projects on the way including a music video for Natalie La Rose, You can watch him as a judge on the season finale of “The Fake Off” on TruTV on Wednesday June 24th at 10:00 pm.
