On May 30th, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) held its annual Hope Gala at the Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco.  Over the course of an impressive evening, $1,170,000 was raised for for Type 1 Diabetes research. Pam Sagan and Dayton Coles were honored with the Living & Giving Award. They accepted their awards on behalf of all JDRF Volunteers.

Wine donated by Lucia Highlands accompanied a festive three course dinner and live auction (an adorable white lab puppy raised $19k for the cause).  One lucky raffle winner walked away with a 15k pair of diamond hoop earrings by Stephen Silver Fine Jewelry.  As the band wound down, the party migrated to another dance floor at an after party thrown by the JDRF Young Leadership Committee of San Francisco.
