World Market kicked off summer by showcasing their newest furnishings in a beautiful beachfront home in Santa Monica. The living room of the beautifully designed home opened onto a colorful patio space which was outfitted in World Market items by author and designer Justina Blakeney. Inside, designer Ann Sage, picked perfect furnishings from World Market to accent the multi-million dollar home. Judging by the Picasso on the wall, guests were wondering if these were indeed the owner’s own furnishings. I knew I recognized the comfortable Luxe Sofa which I actually have in my own living room in tan.
In the spirit of celebrating outdoors, lifestyle expert Cori George of Hey Let’s Make Stuff set up a DIY station where guests made beach-themed centerpieces complete with shells and sand.
To cap off an sunshine and rose-filled afternoon, guests were treated to a performance by Heffron Drive, a duo formed by Kendall Schmidt and Dustin Belt formerly of Big Time Rush.
